Boys Cross Country Wins Brookville Invitational

The boys' varsity cross country team claimed victory at the Brookville Invitational this past Saturday. Leading the charge for the Elks was the senior quartet of Daniel Emmert, Jagger Noel, Jacob Porter, and Mitchell Job. They placed 5th through 8th in the race, securing key points for the team. Tyler Swan also ran strong, finishing in 10th place and rounding out the scoring for the Elks.

The Elks had an impressive day overall, with 31 athletes breaking the 20-minute barrier, and 27 runners achieving their personal best times of the season.

The Elks are gearing up for two big meets next weekend. On Friday, September 13th, they will compete at the Michigan State Invitational, while the rest of the team will race at the Troy Under the Lights Invitational on Saturday, September 14th.
