The Boys Golf teams had an impressive week of competition, with strong performances from both varsity and JV players.
On Monday, the Varsity Gold team played in the Alter Knight Invite at Miami Valley Golf Club, finishing 4th with a score of 322 on a very challenging course. Caleb Whitt led the Elks with a score of 79, followed by Rohan Reddy (80), Jakob Allen (81), Tyler Colson (82), and Casey Colton (86). The Elks’ fifth score helped them beat Springboro and Loveland, who also shot 322. Meanwhile, the JV team had a big win against Beavercreek, shooting 180 to Beavercreek’s 198.
On Wednesday, the Varsity Gold team continued its success by shooting a 155 at Moraine Country Club to defeat Kettering Fairmont, who shot 182. The Elks were led by Tyler Colson with a 37, followed by Rohan Reddy and Caleb Whitt, each with a 39, AJ Schrempp (40), Michael Keller (44), and Jakob Allen (46). The Varsity Black team played Springboro White and lost 157-176. Barrett LeMaster led Centerville with a score of 37, followed by Brandon Yu (45), Grant Stoller (46), Isiah King (48), Evan McCamis (48), and Owen Dobson (49).
Also on Wednesday, the JV teams had another great day, defeating Miamisburg at Yankee Trace with scores of 165 and 169, while Miamisburg shot 195.
Thursday brought more success for the JV team, as they beat Alter 162-187 at Yankee Trace. Connor Barrometti and Joshua Sevey both shot a 38 to lead the Elks, with Jake Puckett close behind at 39. Graham Burkhart shot 47, and Chase Burleson shot 49.
The week wraps up on Saturday with the Varsity Gold team competing in the Harrison Invite at Whitewater Crossing Golf Club, starting at 10 a.m.
