The Varsity Volleyball team had an eventful week, bouncing back from a tough loss to win two matches in a row.

On Monday, the Lady Elks traveled to Mount Notre Dame but fell short, losing 3-0. The scores were 25-18, 25-13, and 25-12. It was a tough match for Centerville, as both the JVA and JVB teams also lost 2-0 to MND.

However, the Lady Elks turned things around on Tuesday night at home. They hosted Miamisburg and swept them with a dominant 3-0 victory, winning by scores of 25-7, 25-16, and 25-6. Both the JVA and JVB teams also won their matches against Miamisburg, each by 2-0.

On Thursday, Centerville celebrated Jam the Gym night with a big win against Beavercreek. The Varsity team won 3-0, with scores of 25-21, 25-20, and 25-11. The JVA team fought hard for a 2-1 win, while the JVB team swept Beavercreek 2-0.

The Varsity team is now 8-3 overall and stands alone at the top of the GWOC with a perfect 6-0 record in league play. Go Elks!
