The Boys Varsity Cross Country team made history on Friday at the Spartan Invitational held at Michigan State University. The team placed 4th overall, marking their highest finish in school history at this prestigious event.

Leading the way for Centerville was senior Kasem Kaheal, who finished in 6th place. Not far behind him was teammate Daniel Emmert, who crossed the finish line in 8th place. Both runners put in strong performances that helped the team secure their spot among the top competitors.

Coach Wilson expressed his pride in the team’s effort, saying, “The boys have worked hard all season, and it’s great to see it paying off at such a big meet.”

This 4th-place finish is a major accomplishment for the Centerville team as they continue their season, aiming to build on this success in the coming races.
