On Friday, the Girls Varsity Cross Country team competed in the Spartan Invitational at Michigan State University. Facing some of the best teams from Michigan and Ohio in the Spartan Elite Race, Centerville finished 9th out of 16 teams.

Leading the way for the girls was Mia Fry, who earned a medal by placing 14th overall. Her strong finish helped the team compete well against the tough field of runners.

The entire team put in a great effort, and their 9th-place finish shows they can hold their own against top competition. Congratulations, ladies, on a job well done!
