The Boys Varsity Soccer team dominated Findlay at home today, winning 6-0. The scoring began at the 30:00 minute mark of the first half when Xander Terrell found the back of the net, giving the Elks a 1-0 lead. Just 11 minutes later, Terrell struck again with his second goal, pushing the lead to 2-0.
Less than a minute after that, Owen Mace added another goal, extending the lead to 3-0 with 19 minutes still remaining in the first half. As the clock wound down, Hamza Yasmin scored with three minutes left, giving the Elks a commanding 4-0 lead heading into halftime.
In the second half, the Elks kept up the pressure. Gavin Cutler scored with 36 minutes left in the game to make it 5-0. Then, with just three minutes left in the match, Maddox Rose capped off the scoring, sealing the 6-0 victory for Centerville.
The Junior Varsity A (JVA) team also had an impressive showing, beating Findlay 5-0.
