On Saturday, the Girls Soccer team hosted one of the top teams from Cincinnati, the Mount Notre Dame Cougars. The Lady Elks put up a strong fight and earned a hard-fought 0-0 tie. Megan Reichard was fantastic in goal, keeping the Cougars from scoring.
This result brings the varsity team’s record to 6-4-1 on the season, and they are currently tied for first place in the Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC). In other action, the JVA team had a great game, defeating Mount Notre Dame 1-0.
Both teams will be back in action on Monday, September 16th, when they travel to Mason. JVA will play at 5:00 p.m., followed by varsity at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available online at or with cash at the gate.
