Last night, the Centerville Elks Varsity Girls Soccer Team traveled to Mason High School for a highly anticipated match against the Mason Comets. Both teams battled hard for the full 80 minutes, but neither side could find the back of the net. The game ended in a 0-0 tie.
This was a tough and competitive match, with both teams giving it their all. While we didn’t come away with a win, the Elks should be proud of their effort. This tie brings the team's record to 6-4-2 on the year.
The team will look to build on this performance as we head into the next game against Wayne Wednesday night in Huber Heights. Keep working hard, Elks, and we’re confident that the goals and wins will come!
In other action, the JVA team beat Mason 3-1 and the JVB team tied Springboro 2-2.
