The Girls Varsity Gold tennis team had a fantastic weekend in Lexington, OH. On Friday night, the Lady Elks dominated Lexington High School with a 5-0 victory, showing their strength from the start.

The next day, the Lady Elks competed in the Lexington Invitational Tournament. They tied for 1st place but ended up finishing 2nd based on a tie-breaker. Marisa Edwards had an impressive run, finishing 2nd in the Singles competition.

In Doubles, the team saw even more success. Eve Alappatt and Elise Hedrick became champions at 1st Doubles. Sasha Riley and Reese Davis also performed well, taking 2nd place at 2nd Doubles. At 3rd Doubles, Hazel Rindler and Emma Morr brought home another championship for Centerville.
