On Saturday night, the Boys Varsity soccer team traveled to St. Xavier to take on the Bombers in a rainy and tough match. The Elks started strong, taking an early 2-0 lead with goals from Myles Houston and Owen Mace. Despite the stormy conditions, the team played with heart and determination.
However, St. Xavier fought back, and the Elks came up just short, losing 3-2. The loss drops Centerville’s record to 4-5-3.
The JVA team also faced St. Xavier but fell 2-1.
The teams will be back in action on Tuesday, October 1st, when they travel to Beavercreek. The JVA game starts at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Varsity game at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are available online at or with cash at the gate.
