The Girls Varsity Soccer team knocked off Beavercreek at home on Wednesday night with a 2-0 win. After a scoreless first half, the Lady Elks came out strong in the second half to secure the victory. Zoe Johnson and Savannah Conner each scored a goal, helping the Elks claim the win.
Centerville’s defense has been outstanding, recording their fifth consecutive shutout. Megan Reichard and her defense continues to dominate, keeping the Beavers from scoring. The Varsity team is now 9-4-2 overall and 6-0 in the GWOC, tying them for first place in the conference.
The JVA team lost to Beavercreek 4-2.
The Elks will be back in action at home on Saturday, October 5th, against Seton. JVB plays at 4 PM, JVA at 5:30 PM, and Varsity at 7:15 PM. Tickets are available online with no fees at this link.
