The Boys Varsity Soccer team wrapped up their GWOC schedule with a hard-fought 2-2 tie against Springboro on Tuesday night, knocking the Panthers out of the league championship race. The Elks played tough, answering quickly each time Springboro scored to take the lead. Owen Mace led the way for Centerville, scoring both goals.

With the tie, the Elks now have a season record of 5-6-4 and finished their GWOC schedule at 2-3-2.

In other action, the JVA team beat Springboro 1-0. Both teams will play at home on Thursday for their regular season finale against Alter. The JVA game starts at 5:30 PM, followed by Varsity at 7:15 PM. This is Senior Night for the Elks as 10 senior players will play on Legacy Field for the last time Thursday night.
