Lady Elks Volleyball Finishes Perfect GWOC Season, Honors Seniors

The girls' varsity volleyball team capped off a perfect GWOC season with a 3-1 victory over Springboro on Thursday night. Playing at home, the Lady Elks took the match by scores of 25-19, 21-25, 25-22, and 25-12. With this win, the team ends their regular season with an impressive overall record of 19-3 and a flawless 14-0 record in the Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC).

Thursday's match was also a special night as the team honored their four graduating seniors: Payton Miller, Kamya West, Alyvia Gradel, and Emily Albright. Each of these seniors has made important contributions to the team, and they will be greatly missed.

In other matches, the JV team defeated Springboro 2-0, while the 9th-grade team lost 2-0.

The GWOC Champion Lady Elks now move on to the SWDAB District Semi-Final match. They will face Springfield on Thursday, October 24th at Butler High School, with the match starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are available online at for $8 (Adults) and $5 (Students). Fans can also pay with cash at the door.
