Varsity Boys Soccer Knocks Off Alter, Ends Regular Season On High Note

The boys' varsity soccer team ended their regular season on a high note with a 2-1 victory over Alter on Thursday night at home. This win gives the Elks a final regular season record of 6-6-4.

The game saw goals from two seniors, team manager Eli St. Pierre and Xander Terrell, who helped secure the victory for Centerville.

In other action, the JVA team shut out Alter 3-0, finishing their season with a strong 10-4-2 record.

The varsity team will now begin tournament play in the SWDAB District Semi-Final. They will face Fairmont on Tuesday, October 22nd at 7 p.m. Tickets for the game can be purchased online at for $8 (Adults) and $5 (Students). Fans can also pay with cash at the gate.
