The varsity girls' cross country team had an amazing performance today, winning the District Title at Cedarville University. The Lady Elks were led by Mia Fry, who finished 3rd overall with a time of 19:18. Close behind her was Claire Drylie, who placed 5th with a time of 19:34.

Elana VonHandorf also ran a strong race, finishing 9th with a time of 20:04. Shayda Hart crossed the line in 12th place with a time of 20:11, Chloe Sorenson finished in 14th place with a time of 20:15, followed by Ella Buckingham in 18th place at 20:26 and Meredith Drylie, who came in 19th at 20:33.

With this victory, the Lady Elks secured their spot in Regionals, which will take place next Saturday at Troy High School.
