The Varsity Soccer team dominated Springfield on Monday night with an impressive 8-0 win at home, securing their spot in the District Championship game. The Lady Elks showcased a complete team effort, with seven different players finding the back of the net. Savannah Conner led the way, scoring two goals. Sammi Aydelott, Zoe Johnson, Samantha Touhey, Lucy Trout, and Mya Mercado each added a goal to the total.
This win brings the Lady Elks to a 10-6-2 record for the season. They will now face Lebanon in the District Championship game on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Middletown High School.
