The Girls Varsity Basketball team delivered an impressive performance on Wednesday night, defeating Northmont 56-29 on the road. The Elks were led by senior standout Caroline McDowell, who scored a game-high 17 points to pace her team to victory.

“I’ve never been around a coach who gets more out of his talent than Coach Priefer,” says Athletic Director Rob Dement. “While others may criticize him because he never wants the spotlight nor would he call out his criticizers, he just continues to do what he does best. I have the utmost respect for him, his players, and his program.”

In other action, Centerville’s JV team fell to Northmont 32-25 in a hard-fought game. However, the 9th-grade team emerged victorious with an 18-13 win.
