The Varsity Girls Bowling team showed their determination Thursday night at Poelking South by pulling off an exciting upset against Wayne. The final score was 1736-1687, with the Elks stepping up when it mattered most.
Leading the team was Emma Clevinger, who bowled an incredible 378 series, scoring 181 in her first game and an impressive 197 in her second. Her performance was a personal best. Right behind her was Abigail Boehm, who also set a personal record with a 360 series, scoring 162 and 198. Dana Owens contributed a strong 314 series, bowling 150 and 164.
The team’s final baker game was the highlight of the night. They came together to roll a 200, sealing the win and proving their teamwork and resilience.
